Started gymnastics at the age of 6 in 1981 and finished up in 2000. And then coached in 2002.
Gymnastics career
  • 1993 – Silver medal, All around competition, Junior Olympic National Championships
  • 1994 - Silver medal, All around competition, Senior Olympic National Championships
  • 1994 - Silver medal, African Championships team competition
  • 1994 – Bronze medal, on Vault at African Championships
  • 1994 – Represented South Africa at the World Championships in Dortmund, Germany
  • 1995 – Gold medal, All Africa Games team competition 
  • 2000 - Bronze medal, African Championships team competition
  • 2000 – Bronze medal, Vault African Championships
  • 2002 – Talent ID in Mitchells Plain
  • 2002 – Two junior gymnasts qualified for Women’s National team to African Champs
  • 2002 - Coach of Women’s National team at World Championships in Debrecen, Hungary 
  • 2002 – Senior gymnast qualified for Women’s National team to African Champs

Jannie Isaacs – Board Member
Mr Jannie Isaacs has been involved in vocational education and training for more than 30 years, as an educator, lecturer, manager and head of a college.
On the 1 March 1997 he took over the reigns as the rector of the former Cape College, a position he held until the college was merged in September 2002.  He is currently the Chief Executive Officer in the College of Cape Town, a position he was appointed to from 01 September 2003.
Mr Isaacs has a strong academic background in both Vocational Education and Training as well as in Management.
Mr Isaacs serves on the boards of a number of community and welfare organisations such as Garden Cities, ASSET and ACESS Trust, Community Development Foundation (Western Cape) and Vrolike Vinkies Educare Centre.
He is married to Alma and they have two children, Jonathan (26) and Janelle (22).
He takes a keen interest in sport and is a regular road runner.

Michael Bagraim
54 years old. Practising Managing Partner of Bagraims Attorneys (Labour Lawyers).
Matriculated at Cape Town High School and graduated from Rhodes University with a BA in Political Science and thereafter an LLB.
Was a member of the Student Representative Council for two years and represented the University on the Debating Society and Law Students Association.
Did articles at Attorneys Sonnenberg, Hoffman and Golombick and thereafter opened own law practice specialising in labour law and industrial relations under the name & style of Bagraims Attorneys.
I sit as a Trustee, Committee member, Executive member of various Associations, Societies and groupings. These include the following :
  1. Epilepsy South Africa;
  2. Association for the physically disabled;(President)
  3. Giants gymnastics (women’s under privileged gymnastics);
  4. Zip Zap Circus (Trustee);
  5. South African Jewish Board of Deputies (National President);
  6. Ort-Tech Institute (Trustee);
  7. Cape Law Society;
  8. Cape Town Attorneys Association;
  9. St. Joseph’s Home;
  10. Woodside Centre;
  11. Centre for abused women.
  12. Cape Chamber of Commerce & Industries (President)
I am a regular contributor on industrial relations and labour law to radio, TV. newspapers and magazines.
I am married to Patsy with two children and am a keen mountain hiker.

Arianne Milton
Arianne Milton’s involvement with gymnastics has spanned four decades; first as a gymnast, then as a coach and now a judge. In 1974 she was awarded Springbok colours as a gymnast. She is an ex Springbok Gymnastics coach.
After completing her B.Sc and HDE, she taught maths but also coached gymnastics at various gymnastics clubs after school. Arianne later moved into gymnastics full-time, running her own club and producing a number of Sprinbok gymnasts.
She was also a team coach at numerous International competitions. Arianne is one of the original Board members of WHPAGO and for 12 years managed the Organisation. Currently she is an internationally qualified Brevet judge and has judged at World Championships, World Cup and many other national and international competitions.
Arianne is going to the Commonwealth Games and World Champs as a Judge in 2014.
She has been married for 30 years and has 2 children.
